Después de un 2019 lleno de éxitos, una gira internacional que recorrió más de 70 ciudades y el cierre de su gira Aztlán con dos sold out en el Auditorio Nacional en la Ciudad de México, Zoé, la banda mexicana de rock ganadora de dos Latin Grammy en el 2011 y un Grammy como Mejor Álbum Alternativo Latino por Aztlán en 2019, lanzan el día de hoy su nuevo tema “SKR”, primer sencillo y adelanto de su séptimo álbum de estudio que llevará el nombre de:
Sonidos de Karmática Resonancia.
“SKR”, explora las emociones globales como el amor y la realidad las cuales se acompañan de los sonidos emblemáticos de la banda los cuales se apoderan de la canción y hacen explotar su identidad.
“Con tus sonrisas de color, pintaba melodías en aire
Una fragancia de dolor me hizo tocar eso que era inmutable
Borré mi historial personal, con un ventilador dimensional y
Reinicié mi corazón, pa ver si podía volverme a querer” SKR
La canción fue escrita por León Larregui y la producción corrió a cargo de Craig Silvey, quien ha trabajado con artistas de la talla de Arcade Fire, Kasabian, Stereophonics, Noel Gallagher y Florence and The Machine, entre muchos más.
Para la grabación del track se utilizaron diferentes reverse físicos, micrófonos especiales y equipo que solicitaron únicamente para la realización. Además, cada integrante grabó en diferentes cabinas dentro de Estudios Panoram en la CDMX para tener el mejor resultado del sonido de cada instrumento logrando interconectar las cabinas y con ello conseguir una pieza inigualable.
Previo al estreno en plataformas digitales la banda sorprendió a los habitantes de la CDMX con la proyección del video en diferentes edificios de la ciudad, con el fin de brindar entretenimiento y consentir a sus fans, ya que mediante una convocatoria en redes sociales ellos podían nominar su edificio para que la proyección se realizará.
“Sabemos que son tiempos difíciles por lo que brindar un poco de música y diversión para mejorar el estado de ánimo y que la gente pase un mejor momento nos entusiasma mucho” ZOÉ
El vídeo corrió a cargo de León Larregui y Diego Vargas, con quién la banda lleva trabajando casi 10 años. El video cuenta con animación 3D en donde resalta el surrealismo con una estética especial ya que la animación fue dibujada cuadro por cuadro y relata las sensaciones que se van manifestando a lo largo de la vida, siempre hay momentos difíciles, pero al final todo mejora.
Con este lanzamiento, Zoé da comienzo a una nueva etapa. “SKR” estará disponible en plataformas de stream y video a partir del 14 de mayo a las 5:00 pm (CDT).
La banda inició el año celebrando los 10 años de su álbum Música de Fondo del cual se desprende una reedición en formato físico y la versión HD de los videos en su canal de YouTube.
Además, este año la banda contará con un álbum tributo que lleva por nombre “Reversiones” en donde reconocidos músicos como Alejandro Fernández, Bronco, Mon Laferte, Andrés Calamaro, Juanes, Manuel Carrasco interpretarán y rendirán homenaje a los éxitos que han conquistado a sus seguidores.
